With the unveiling of Sawa World’s visionary road map, we invite you to journey beyond the moment and into the future. Come travel the “solutions-from-within” highway that starts with the opening of Kampala’s Solution Centre in June of this year, featuring daily skills development workshops, a demonstration farm, idea exchanges, a youth innovation hub, and a media library. Follow along to 2017 when the staff, Sawa sparks, and Solution-Centre initiatives will have changed the lives of 50,000 Ugandan youth. Carry on until 2019 when Sawa World’s successful model will operate in seven other African countries lifting over one million people out of poverty. Travel past many milestones of growth and expansion, and finally arrive in 2030 to celebrate the end of extreme poverty by empowering one billion people to successfully use locally created solutions. Ambitious? No doubt! Doable? Absolutely!!!
The 18 by 3.5 feet grand visionary road map will light the walls of Kampala’s new Solution Centre. It’s stunningly big, colourful, creative, and dynamic, much like the team on the 15-year journey. With the road map in hand, they will show anything is possible with vision, strategy, and undying dedication.
